This Privacy Policy explains how ZAPP Electric Inc., doing business as ZAPP and ZappFast (“ZAPP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, protects, and retains information when you visit our website, use our applications, interact with our charging stations, make payments, contact us, or otherwise use our products and services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Your use of the Services is also subject to our Terms of Use.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through:

  • our websites and landing pages; 
  • mobile applications and web portals, if any; 
  • ZAPP and ZappFast charging stations and payment terminals; 
  • account registration and login systems; 
  • customer support communications; 
  • email, text, phone, and web form interactions; and 
  • any other online or offline touchpoints through which we provide the Services.

  • charger location used for the session; 
  • approximate location based on IP address; and 
  • device location, if location permissions are enabled. 

E. Payment Information

Payments may be processed using PCI-compliant hardware and software. We may collect or receive payment-related details necessary to complete transactions, such as billing identifiers, transaction metadata, and payment status. Full payment card handling may be performed by third-party payment processors.

4. How We Use Information

  • to provide and operate the Services;

  • to process charging sessions and payments; 
  • to provide customer support; 
  • to send receipts, confirmations, and service-related notices;

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of the term.

6. Mobile Information Non-Sharing Statement

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

This includes, without limitation, mobile phone numbers, SMS consent data, and text messaging opt-in information. Such information will not be sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties for their own marketing use.

We may share mobile information only with service providers that assist us in delivering our own communications or operating our Services, and only to the extent necessary for those functions and subject to confidentiality and legal restrictions.
